Nisha van der Hoven
Nisha is a practising architect and the founder of Hoven. Before starting her own consultancy, she worked for 12 years at Boogertman + Partners Architects.
Her interest in practice is shaped by a keen understanding of shared workspace design which has fostered her relationship with Workshop17, a coworking brand focused on people, innovation and collaboration. As their lead architect, Nisha is responsible for the design of their new locations along with their in-house design team.
Nisha has a strong belief in learning by experimenting and finding inspiration through the process of making.
Having a multi-disciplinary approach to her projects, that extends from research, to film, to textile and furniture design, has manifested itself in her role as curator for FuturePart which is an agency for rigorous research and experimental design thinking within practice. It is a place for new ideas, youthful input and innovation beyond the realm of architecture.
