Exhibitions
'The task of curating is to make junctions, to allow different elements to touch. You might describe it as the attempted pollination of culture, or a form of map-making that opens new routes through a city, a people or a world'
- Hans Ulrich Obrist
For Hoven, exhibitions are a demonstration of a process that nearly always starts with a conversation and an attempt in finding ways to sometimes make the impossible things possible. Through collaboration, exhibitions can build bridges between many disciplines - architects, researchers, artists, the communities, and even institutions. The role of the curator is to mediate between all of the collaborators and to organize and collate a process of collection making.
